This A3 alcohol ink painting, titled "Winter Light," is a gentle and contemplative depiction of a quiet, leafless woodland touched by the softest breath of cold air and pale sun.
Against a softly blended background of icy blues, muted mauves, and pale fawn,  tree-like forms rise in delicate, branching lines. Their trunks and limbs are rendered in flowing ink trails of copper, rosewood, and plum, bleeding organically into the paper as if shaped by time and weather. The trees seem to shimmer in their stillness—bare, skeletal forms silhouetted against a wintry sky.
Each branch extends with fragility and grace, some fading into the air like memories, others standing firm with earthy pigment pooling at their base. There's a beautiful balance between the controlled and the chaotic—between the clarity of winter and the softness of light as it drapes over the land.
