Learn the principles of Art Making
I find that the simple act of picking up a paintbrush changes something inside me. My attention shifts away from the chatter of my mind and onto colour, shape and texture.

There is plenty of research showing that creative activities can reduce stress and improve wellbeing, but you don't need to read the studies to experience it. You simply need to sit down with some paint and discover it for yourself.
So I'd like to invite you to come and create some art with me.
This isn't about learning to paint like me. It's about giving you the confidence and the tools to paint like you.

For groups of 4 or more I'm delighted that my friend Reb Reid Scott, a wonderfully talented artist, will be joining me to help with these sessions. Between us, we'll be there to encourage you, answer questions and help you discover your own creative voice in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Over the years, studying at City & Guilds of London Art School, undertaking Nicholas Wilton's Creative Visionary Programme and through my own practice, I've learnt some wonderfully simple principles that make creating art so much easier and more enjoyable.
I will introduce you to the building blocks of art making - Value, Design and Colour Harmony—that make every painting come alive, whatever your style.

The most important thing to know is this:
You don't need any previous experience.
You don't need to know how to draw.
You don't need to think you're "creative."
You just need to come exactly as you are.

We'll spend 90 minutes playing with colour, making marks, discovering what works, and most importantly, enjoying the process.
My hope is that you'll leave not only with something you've created, but also with a little more peace than when you arrived.
