Where the Light rests
Inspired by the caldera landscapes of Santorini, Where the Light Rests explores the gentler aftermath of sunset, when colour softens and the sea absorbs what the sky releases. The horizon stretches into calm, horizontal bands of rose, coral and muted crimson, creating a quiet continuity between sky and water.
Here, the land has almost disappeared, dissolved into atmosphere and memory. What remains is a feeling rather than a place — warmth lingering on the surface of the sea, light settling rather than fading.
Delicate tidal textures that echo the slow, rhythmic breathing of water at dusk.
This piece invites stillness and rest. It is a meditation on calm after intensity, on the moment when the day loosens its grip and the world feels gently held, complete and at peace.
