Veil of violet (Pavoni Alveare Mais)
This artwork is a striking meditation on contrast and descent. The composition is divided horizontally into two primary realms:
The upper band features a rich, earthen brown with a subtle honeycomb texture, like dry, sunbaked clay or scorched ground—stable, ancient, and still.
Below this, a jagged transition gives way to a deep, saturated violet expanse, textured with intensity. Golden dotted lines stream downward through the purple in delicate threads, evoking falling light.
The effect is both grounded and ethereal—a tension between weight and luminosity, structure and flow.
Please note that due to the resin top coat the Pavoni Alveare Mais appears significantly darker than when uncoated.
Beneath the cracked breath of earth,
a hush begins to bloom—
not loud, but certain,
like dusk pressing softly
against the day’s last edge.Shadows melt
into violet silence,
and from above,
threads of light descend—
golden, slow,
like secrets learning how to fall. Here, the veil does not conceal
but reveals
what stillness dares to hold:
a sky turned inward,
a memory made of color,
a breath that glows
as it disappears.
