In this contemplative piece, the surface is broken only by two vertical copper leaf trees, rising from a dark, quiet upper band — a night sky, a shadowed forest, or the edge of a dream. Their presence is delicate yet firm, symbolic, perhaps, of guardianship, silence, or witness.
