Transcending Boundaries
57 x 43 cm | Alcohol ink on board, sealed with clear resin
Inspired by an aerial view of the ocean, this piece explores the shifting edges between land and water — where boundaries dissolve and reform in an ever-changing landscape.
Soft, sandy tones move alongside luminous turquoise and deep ocean blues, creating the impression of tidal inlets, submerged contours and currents seen from above. The composition flows organically, with no fixed horizon, inviting the eye to drift across the surface as though tracing the movement of water itself.
The resin top coat enhances the sense of depth and fluidity, giving a glass-like finish that reflects light.
There is a quiet expansiveness within the work. Boundaries are not fixed, but fluid, and constantly evolving.
