There is something mesmerising about Mediterranean pines. Shaped by years of coastal winds, they seem to dance rather than simply stand, their sweeping canopies moving gently with every breeze.
Created using the historic cyanotype process, Sway captures not only the distinctive silhouette of these trees but also their quiet rhythm. The rich Prussian blues and delicate white highlights give the branches an almost ethereal quality, while hand-applied gold leaf catches the light, echoing the warmth of the Mediterranean landscape.
 
Rather than depicting a single moment, the work seeks to capture a feeling—the gentle movement of wind through the trees, the warmth of the air, and the peaceful stillness that comes from slowing down long enough to notice nature's quiet choreography.
