Seabed Memory

Inspired by the caldera landscape of Santorini, Seabed Memory focuses on the textures formed beneath the surface of the sea. Dense layers of pooled alcohol ink create cellular patterns and striations reminiscent of sediment, salt and compressed tidal matter.
The work explores how water holds time — not as image, but as accumulation. Light recedes, and what remains is depth, pressure and memory embedded in the surface itself.
