A ribbon of weathered cliffs stretches across the composition, its intricate layers of rose pink, warm copper, soft grey and earthy brown evoking the ancient geological formations of the Cornish coastline.

Created using variegated alcohol inks, the pigments separate and mingle to produce beautifully unpredictable patterns reminiscent of exposed rock and natural erosion.

Expanses of luminous turquoise and pale aquamarine surround the cliffs, while fine horizontal lines suggest the gentle movement of water across the shore.
