Golden Seams

Fine seams of acrylic gold weave through layered cliffs of deep espresso, dusky peach and warm brown, tracing the natural contours of the rock. Glimpses of pale aqua emerge between the darker layers, echoing the luminous sky above and the turquoise water below.

Inspired by the Padstow estuary, this coastal abstract brings together the solidity of weathered cliffs and the gentle movement of tidal water. Delicate ripples spread across the foreground in shades of turquoise and emerald, while the gold highlights catch the light, drawing the eye along the shoreline.
