Faultline (Pavoni Velvet Cognac Weave)
This vibrant and tactile artwork is rich in contrast. The composition is divided into three distinct horizontal bands:
The upper section features Pavoni Velvet Cognac Weave which has an intricate, interwoven pattern
A dark, fractured band lies beneath it—like scorched earth or cooled lava—visually separating the order above from the chaos below.
The lower half bursts into fiery reds, oranges, and golds, bleeding downward in a molten, cascading motion. The texture is raw and layered, evoking heat, passion, or transformation—like a wildfire, sunset, or the core of something breaking open.
The artwork has a clear resin top coat which gives it a marble like quality.
A hush above, in woven codes,
where silence wears its symmetry.
Below, the thread is broken—
fractured earth,
slick with ash and memory.
Beneath the crust,
fire dreams in crimson and gold,
licking the edges of restraint,
bleeding stories through the cracks.
Here is the place
where stillness splits,
where order meets ignition,
and something ancient
flares into becoming.
