A dramatic, cliff-like form rises across the surface, its face built through richly layered pigment and pronounced texture.
Above, a deep ember-red sky holds a quiet intensity — not flat, but subtly worked, alive with movement beneath its surface. Below, the composition resolves into a rugged, rock-like formation, where gold, ochre, and charred tones are constructed and carved into the board. The texture is highly developed: ridges, fractures, and raised passages evoke the raw face of a cliff, catching and reflecting light as the viewer moves.
