Whispering lilies

This gentle alcohol ink painting on Yupo paper captures a scene of quiet elegance, where nature unfolds in slate grey and denim blue tones. The composition evokes a still  lakeside landscape, where soft horizontal washes suggest distant sky and water blending into one seamless horizon. Wisps of  lavender brush across the scene, enhancing its dreamy atmosphere.
In the foreground, a small cluster of purple lilies rises delicately from the earth — their fluid, abstract forms suggesting serene reeds, standing quietly at the water's edge. The lilies appear almost as silhouettes or memories, rooted yet ephemeral, adding a sense of both presence and transience.
