In the foreground, fluid bands of oceanic blues and aquamarine sweep across the lower half of the painting, layered like waves in motion. The ink’s natural flow creates ripples and textures that evoke the swell and shift of water, while bold, jagged forms in rich crimson-black pierce upward through the turquoise suggesting sharp rocks breaching the tide.
