This  painting is a tribute to the rolling landscapes of the English countryside, alive with energy and colour.
Layer upon layer of sweeping forms suggest the natural contours of the Dorset hills, painted in warm earthy tones of burnt sienna, ochre, and russet. These tones are interwoven with dynamic streaks of turquoise, emerald, and yellow, creating a rhythmic flow that echoes both geological formation and artistic intuition. The curves and folds mimic the rise and fall of chalk downs, valleys, and sunlit ridgelines, capturing the landscape's ever-changing light.
The sky above is rendered in soft copper and rosewood hues, gently brushed in horizontal lines—like the fading warmth of sunset casting its final light over the land.
