Venus

I created this painting using alcohol ink on yupo paper which is an incredibly smooth surface enabling the ink to flow freely.  I used a simple palette of turquoise, pool, slate and gold.  It conjures up the idea of a magical waterfall with liquid gold crashing down.  The shell in the bottom left makes me think of Botticelli's incredible work of art The Birth of Venus.    What do you see?
